Re: Living Longde Teacher
There seems to be a few "Tokden Rinpoches". I am also interested in finding out if there are any other Teachers of Longde...in the US maybe?

Re: Buddhahood in This Life Transmission: 09/15/17
i once read a wilkinson work and after a few lines my eyes where defiled 😂 [/quote] In order to make a comment like that apparently you must be fluent in the Tibetan language. And if you are then why aren't you turning out Dzogchen English translations like this guy is trying to do? And if not, how ...

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
Rinpoche had said 3 things many many times.
Relax,
Be Present,
Do Guruyoga.
Anyone know how to say and write these in Tibetan?

Re: Personal retreat suggestions - focus on semde
sounds like a plan...you can never do too much Guruyoga, right? One of the few things that Rinpoche always said was "Relax, be Present, do Guruyoga..these are the only things I tell you to do". Applying the practice of being Present between sessions as a practice in itself cannot be underestimated.....

Re: Personal retreat suggestions - focus on semde
Take a look at your situation and try and determine if there are any secondary practices that might be useful to intersperse between sessions that will be helpful to the main practice....the 3 day Vajra Armor retreat comes to mind as an example..Ive also found it helpful to do LOTS of really short p...

yeah..only one problem with all of this...a group of 500 scientists and climate professionals sent a “European Climate Declaration” to the U.N. with a stark message: “There is no climate emergency.” And as the MSM obviously wont be covering this it might be worth a look...as well as some open and ho...

Re: Help finding version of Medicine Buddha mantra
Might be helpful if you remember which language the monk was chanting it in...Sanskrit, Tibetan, Chinese, or Japanese? Also was it long or short? If long it could have been a dharani and not a mantra

I think everyone here has had doubts as to the efficacy of certain practices....were human, comes with the territory. However, that being said, heres a thought that crossed my mind...you said you have been doing this practice for a decade now, right? Is it remotely possible that you were meant to di...

ChNN has said that for longevity you do Amitayus practice, for Wisdom..Manjushri, for compassion..Chenrezi..etc. What is Ngondzog Gyalpo practice done for? Besides the obvious, Realization/Enlightenment... Kye-rim. Control of vayu is the root of all siddhis. All of the qualities are complete in eve...

Re: Q: on Christopher Wilkinson translations
Actually I have a few of his books. I like them, especially since they are the only translations out there for many dzogchen tantras. I cant tell you how accurate they are as I don't speak/read/write Tibetan. However that being said he appears to be knowledgeable and has a sincere desire to get as m...

Thats not to say that you cant do secondary practices as needed thou...
