Re: Giving up on Buddhism?

hi genkaku, the first link - it does indeed look like readers responses from the layout but the two quotes on that page from respectively, John Hogan and Daniel Florien are in fact what readers are responding to in the second link.

hope that helps

you say Nagarjuna....

...i say 'Nagarjuna'? hi folks, this topic is probably old-hat to most of you so it'd be good to get some thoughts on the matter and be pointed to any further sources. i've recently finished reading William's Mahayana Buddhism: The Doctrinal Foundations and been introduced to the theory (liklihood?)...

hi Luke, it's the translation by the Padmakara Translation Group, from the Tibetan. i've only got through the preface, introduction and Ch.1 (which i'm going to reread before moving on to the next chapter) so far, so i can't really offer an opinion yet other than that i like their reasoning in expla...

ha, funny you should say all that Luke because for myself it's kind of the other way round. when i was 16 i got a copy of the Lotus Sutra out from the local library and with much excitement at the exotic title and beautiful picture of a bronze carving of the Buddha's face on the cover, i opened and ...
