Re: Finding a qualified Teacher

Near Tsopema one can perhaps meet Lama Wangdor Rinpoche . Lama Wangdor is highly reputed as a Dzogchen teacher and for being accessible. It seems very likely he has attained Rainbow Body . Sorry, but you have to die first to achieve Rainbow Body. Sorry but you didn't read the Rigpa Wiki link first....

Re: Finding a qualified Teacher

I strongly recommend you make contact with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. He travels widely and is a truly excellent and very kind teacher. His form of teaching is very powerful, at least for me. He is the eldest son of Tulku Urgyen, which should speak volumes about his pedigree. There are also his brother...

Re: Kagyu Monlam live on FB- who is this lama?

I think that's right- though it looks like there are some short lojong modules. The translation was too fast and on the fly to really take in- it's really the crowd shots that I've been mostly enjoying. But they are still there on youtube, if you want to listen again. I don't have any idea whether ...

Re: Kagyu Monlam live on FB- who is this lama?

You know, for such a big public event, they're really not screwing around with the teachings. I think of how many biggish public events I've been to where the teachers were nice but the teachings were just pablum. The crowd shots are amazing. And worldwide, fewer than 200 people watching the FB, ju...
