Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
No prob, thanks for sharing. Is the secret rushen of the Dra Thalgyur different from the ‘standard’ secret rushen of the mind? According to CNNR the rushens from Ratna Lingpa’s re-descovered terma are easier for practitioners and slightly different form the ones contained in the Nyingthig of Vimala...

It’s already passed, right? Unless, maybe, there was a recording? On the registration page there was an option to purchase the recording. I dont know if it is publicly available though. And yeah, the retreat has passed, sorry. I thought it will be in July. No prob, thanks for sharing. Is the secret...

Re: What to Recite at Graveyards?
What sort of dharanis and mantras should I recite at an old graveyard/charnel ground, if there is any in particular? Any trees or signs to look out for? If you dont know any mantras or rituals, read the tombstones connect with their stories, rest in that understanding and spread love inside the fee...

Re: Kilung life release
If you want to perform life release go to a petshop. There you can find live crickets and worms for cheap. Life is life. Lots of pet shops in places where crickets don't normally exist, carry crickets (and likewise for other fish, insects, and so on.) So one shouldn't release animals that don't nat...

Re: Ichinen Sanzen/Mahavairocana /Gohonzon/?Rigpa?
So Johnny Dangerous, let me try to explain synthetically and respectfully: the Dzogchen texts really speak of two types of practices that are performed by two types of individuals: the Lamrimpas and the Cigcarpas, that is, those who follow the gradual path and those who follow the sudden path. Ther...

Re: Rainbow body questions
That's the self liberation glass ceiling I guess. Traditionly HYT was never given in large groups, but very intimate setting. Dzogchen was even more intimate. So in many ways we've been very fortunate. An embarrassment of riches. Regards So, has Dzogchen always been elitist? Only accessible by a sm...

Sems sde does not have a complete path since it is devoid of the teachings of the secret and unsurpassed secret cycle of man ngag sde. Yeah. Complete nonsense. Misleading people much ? Your late teacher says the following: “In substance, these three phases(The three series) correspond to three aspe...

Re: Practicing without possibility of physical contact with teacher
Fascination with dzogchen is an indication of a certain past connection. But you are born into some specific circumstances beyond your context where the current cultural conditioning strengthens past lives tendencies. We don’t know what these tendencies are but when they meet strong currents and con...

Re: Yogachara, the illusory nature of appearances and anxiety
Lately, I have been doing an online Tergar course named "Exploring Reality". They explain the four major philosophical schools within Tibetan Buddhism. When we got to Yogachara and they explained that everything is mind and that all appearances are illusory this generated a strong sense of anxiety....

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
Hi. The DC has a new 'Sangha' app giving events information etc. In order to set it up you need an 'invitation code'. If anyone knows it, please could you PM it to me, as the alternative of visiting a Centre is unlikely to be on my 'to do' list for some weeks. Same problem, same request - if anyone...

Re: Accepting a guru you haven’t personally met?
You do not need to have a personal relationship with them for them to be your guru. A lama who doesn't know your name, who you've only interacted with by sitting in a crowd in one mass empowerment: you have samaya with that lama just as much as with the lama who has tea with you once a week and giv...

The medical specialists I visit tell me I'm healthy and have no positive results on tests. symptoms vary, and usually, they come...
