Re: Four Noble Truths in Nichiren Buddhism?
I have the same problem, i really dont see the point in nichiren buddhism yet and i was hoping that someone could explain it. Here in argentina is very popular, my sister who i dont live with and a friend are followers but it seems very incomplete. More like a social help group than actual buddhism ...
Re: Deities
By the way sory to the creator of this thread for posting my own doubts in your thread.
I liked shinzen views, but it seems "incomplete". Though i dont practice deity yoga and im just talking out of curiosity.

Re: Deities

Re: Very subtle breath
The same thing happends to me and i have almost the same amount of time meditating as you. What i do basicly is focus on that kind of "void" sensation when de breath becomes lighter. After a while it seems that you start to become more aware of subtle things and the breath appears again (or not). On...

Re: The role of Brahmavihara in tibetan buddhism
Is the equanimty of the four Immeasurables different from the equanimty born from samadhi cultivation? I havent practiced equanimty meditation yet but it seems that the focus is different from the one born in samatha. What i mean is that the equanimty from samadhi cultivation seems more related to a...

Haha thats strange. I dont have cats of my own because they give me alergies but i have a friend who has a very active cat, he doesnt stay still for one second. The strange thing about it is that the times that i have meditated in my friend house for a long time the cat just stayed stilled, and when...

Re: First year of meditation. Wich techniques should i use?
Thanks a lot, that makes sense. Maybe in the near future ill try to add some compassion or equanimity also. Im currently trying to find a buddhist center that fits me and a teacher. There are some tibetan centers here in buenos aires luckly. Still i got tempted to see what will come next. This is a ...
