White Tara mantra
There seem to be two variations of White Tara mantra.
1.
Oṃ Tāre Tuttāre Ture Mama Ayuḥ Punya Jñānā Puśtiṃ Kuru Svāhā.
2.
Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayurjnana Punye Pushting Svaha.
Any idea why the difference? Do different lineages use one or other?

Re: Pausing sadhanas
This is very interesting. I have heard from one of my teachers that when practicing sadhana alone, YOU are the boss and yes you can pause and spend time on each section . When in a group obviously one goes along with the group pace. I think in this way one can really integrate the practice into one'...

Re: Contemplation
Contemplation or perhaps it could be called reflection is often overlooked. I did and still do overlook it but I am on the advice on one of my teachers trying to bring it into my daily practice more and more. I think it can be used very informally and naturally. Mindfulness, wakefulness and reflecti...

Re: "The Only Child of the Buddha"
Garchen Rinpoche gave the lung for a very short text called something like, '“The Seed Tantra that is The only Child of all Buddhas”....anyone know where to find this? He also said he takes empowerments online when other Masters give them. Here: https://lhaseylotsawa.org/assets/texts/Short-...

Re: Sponsoring Puja/Prayers for a Friend
Although it may seem alien to western culture there is great merit and benefit in sponsoring prayers and pujas. Group practice also increases the benefit. We can of course always recite prayers for someone but a sponsored puja has multiple benefits.

In theory seems a great idea, in practice not always. Dharma centres can be very busy places with as Magnus says above lots of work/ help needed.
