The Ati Kalachakra has two arms, one face...
the Anu Kalachakra has 24 arms with weapons, etc. & 3 faces, 4, or 6 feet, etc.

I linked a picture but.... 'restricted' :rolleye:
Ok, so we see at the webcast-site the Anu Kalacakra with 24 arms, 4 faces, six legs

Re: Iconography Question

in sadhanas (f.e. Chenrezig) there is a explicit explaination of the symbol of the 2 necklaces! In old thangkas you see 2 of them at nearly every deity. 3 necklaces are mentioned in Bon, but you cannot find the three in every old thangka Interesting, in every explanation I’ve seen that I can recall...

Re: Changchub Dorje Kalachakra

It is as I says, ati is more essential and simple. Well the ati sadhana is more simple but not the deity itself. /magnus The Ati Kalachakra has two arms, one face... the Anu Kalachakra has 24 arms with weapons, etc. & 3 faces, 4, or 6 feet, etc. I linked a picture but.... 'restricted' :rolleye:

I thought he mentioned a stage of unification where the visualization of deity and self visualization merge together - I could be remembering wrong Also in some sadhanas t...

Re: Info on Rinjung Gyatsa Empowerment

I practice termas and I practice Gelug; one thing I have come to conclude is that a common response to sectarianism in the past is more sectarianism now. i.e. surely the right response here is an attitude which does not go in the direction. Perhaps it's worth mentioning, in case some people get the...

Re: Yangzab Shitro

Agree with Malcolm on this. There’s phowas related to 3 kayas, as for the 100 peaceful wrathful vajrasattva shitro, reading karma Lingpas termas would be beneficial in general, but practice and lineage specific concerns, (If that’s your thing) your gonna have to squeeze the empowerer for clarity. O...

Re: Yangzab Shitro

There is no single Yangzab Zhitro practice. That is not how it works. There is an outer, inner, and secret peaceful deity sadhana, and an outer, inner, and secret wrathful deity sadhana. Also the mantras are not the same as the Zhitro everyone is familiar from the Karma Lingpa, etc. There is a manu...

Re: Yangzab Shitro

IMO the only address to ask for a Sadhana is the organization where you received the empowerment. Insist there. I did that and there was no response. And I messaged Gar Drölma who said GBI institute would give the text, but no dice. Gar Drolma sent a link to download a sadhana to those who register...

That's nice and all, but I don't have any of the Sādhanās and am looking for them if anyone has them that would be helpful. Khenpo Samdup mentioned on the follow-up teaching from this weekend's empowerment this evening that tomorrow he will present a sadhana. :?: Where? When? Via Zoom Wednesday 7 p...
