Not willing to debate any topic regarding recognition of tulkus, but I feel it may be appropriate to mention that the other teacher who was recognized as Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche is still a monastic, and currently practicing in the traditional 3 years retreat.

'You are not leaving your old teacher, you are expanding from your previous experience. Make sure you include everything with a pure view, and you're fine.'
