Questions

Post by tracefleeman »

Hi. For a long time, i've considered myself a Buddhist. But i've only recently started practining latley. Since then, I really FEEL closer to enlightenment. Now, when I do walking meditation, I can see beauty in everything, EVERYTHING. I just have some questions: 1. I sometimes feel like I'm practicing for the wrong reasons, but not entirely. It's hard to explain, but yeah. 2. How do I take the vow of the Bodhisattva? 3. Has anyone ever reached enlightenment, being a layperson and not a monk?

The Heart Drive - nosce te ipsum

"To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget." –Arundhati Roy
