It is an English translation of "The Zen Teachings Of Rinzai (the Lin-Chi-Lu).
Please read the preface...it explains what it is and how it came about.
It is in PDF format and will load on to your computer when you go to the site. Don't worry it"s NOT loading a virus or such to your site.
At least it didn't on mine.

Has anyone read Opening the Hand of Thought: Foundations of Zen Buddhist Practice by Kosho Uchiyama. Reading it now and I have enjoyed it.

Has anyone read Opening the Hand of Thought: Foundations of Zen Buddhist Practice by Kosho Uchiyama.

I really need to get a copy of it. Over time I've seen it very consistently recommended. I certainly don't doubt its quality given what I know of Uchiyama Roshi.
