I hope it was a reputable referral. You know, you never know who to trust and all, these days. I mean, if you saw some guy lying on the sidewalk in a puddle of something or other and gave him a quarter and he then said "You really ought to check out this Dharma Wheel board, mate." well that would not be a very reliable referral now would it?
Oh well, I suppose the only way to know for sure is to dive in and start reading and writing. Who knows, you might find something cogent and coherent if you look long enough. Might have to write it yourself, though.
