Just joined this forum today and dropped in here to say hello. Hello.
I read a bit about Buddhism awhile back and became interested immediately. It just seemed like such a natural and unassuming path to spirituality and freedom. My sister in law (a Buddhist nun) then gifted me Suzuki's "Zen Mind, Beginners Mind" and after reading that it all just made a lot of sense to me. I've struggled my whole life with self-induced stress. Mostly due to worrying and not living in the moment.
I started practicing zazen at the start of the year and am seeing an improvement in my sense of self and how I treat others. I'm interested in learning more about Buddhism and zazen in particular.
I'll be reading more than posting.
