Dr. Ngawang Jorden who is the Principal of IBA will conduct the Teaching on “Parting from the 4 Clinging” in which our founder Lineage Guru Sachen Kunga Nyingpo received it directly from Manjushri in His pure vision. These 4 verses contained the essence of all the Teachings in the Mahayana and is a very important mind training teaching of the Sakyapa Tradition. Dr. Jorden will present it in a simple and thorough manner so that all students attending can grasp the gist and the profundity at the end of the Teaching. We wish all those who attended will benefit greatly from it this time.

The Blue Flower Meditation is Shamatha Mediation, and is basically a continuation from the fourth parting. After turning our mind to the Path of the Buddha Dharma, we seek to develop a disciplined mind. For this we need to change our present mental disposition which is in the state of distraction and confusion. The practice of the Blue Flower Meditation in the Lam Dre Tradition by Virupa will lead us to attaining a state of calm abiding. This one-pointed concentration meditation will free us from distracted thoughts and render our mind a suitable vessel for insight meditation of the Buddha Dharma, a path which we will embrace till we attain the enlightened state.
