Infant Ear Infection

Can anyone recommend a holistic remedy or pain reliever for infant ear infections? Four antibiotics later and nothing. Tubes are coming but I don't want to put him on anymore antibiotics until he gets them in. I don't think it is good for anyone to be on antibiotics for this long.

The traditional cure used by Indians is to boil a little oil in a spoon with smashed garlic.Let it cool and apply it with a cotton bud or pour a little of the oil into the ear.It worked for all of us when we were young.Just sharing.

But now,I have another strange problem with my right ear.Every time I clean my right ear with a cotton bud, the ear wax is blue,green yellow,red orange or black.All the colours are bright and they keep changing.My ear is not infected and does not ache.Any thoughts or advice?
