In his youth Khenpo Karpo studied under Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and Dzogchen Polo
Khen Rinpoche and is one of the spiritual son of both great masters He
establishe Pephu Retreat Centre at Zhongmey,Lhuntse, East Bhutan Khenpo Karpo
has undertook the project of building of 148 foot statue of Guru Rinpoche at Takila
as Guru Nangsi Zilnon symbolizing subjugation of negative forces

The 30 foot lion throne will house the main lhakang(temple) Eight stupas will
be built around the Guru Rinpoche Statue making it a Mandala The 17 foot lotus
seat will house a smaller Rigzin Dagyud Lhakang A inner spiral staircase will lead
upwards to the Gyalwa Gonju Lhakang and Kunzang Yabyum Lhakang
Zung(Dharanis) and other precious objects, relics together with 100000
4 foot Guru Rinpoche Statue will be placed inside the main Guru
Rinpoche statue The face of Guru Rinpoche measuring 14 feet will be made of gold
plated copper sheets
