Is there a list of the top 1000 Tibetan words used in sadhanas? Vocabulary distribution is a power series phenomena following Ziph's Law so it would be useful to get or develop a ranked distribution of the top 1000 Tibetan words used. Books/lists like this are common in Germany for various languages. In the US they seem to top out at 250-500.
Thanks!

“Where do atomic bombs come from?”
Zen Master Seung Sahn said, “That’s simple. Atomic bombs come from the mind that likes this and doesn’t like that.”
"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."

That's a great idea. If it doesn't already exist, we could compile a list from sadhanas that we are practicing. . .

I have it and did not find it very useful to me in my Nyingma world. It was based on peaceful sadhanas. Not that great for wrathful sadhanas, nor for the kind of dzogchen terminology that Guru Rinpoche sprinkled throughout the treasure texts. But a nice effort!ReasonAndRhyme wrote:Thx for this link. The good news is that even learning 100 common sadhana words will go a long way towards understanding maha-ati terma sadhanas.
