Post by Mandarava »

Hello,
I found this forum through another forum.Seem's nice here.
I've been practising Buddhism since 2000 and took refuge in Gyalton Rinpoche from Sherab Ling Monastery, India. My teacher is Mingyur Rinpoche.I love spending long periods of time in India and feel really at home there.I live in South Wales, love Guru Rinpoche, Dogs, Monkeys and chocolate. So that's me.

Hi Mandarava,

I feel I should know you!

Mingyur Rinpoche has been my Guru for over 10 years, so I attended all his visits to Wales, and usually travelled with Rinpoche, Lama Soto and Chodrak round the UK. Also I know Lama Rabsang. And finally :) your photo is from the Guru Rinpoche Drupchen at Samye Ling, where I lived for over 3 years.

What's your name? :) welcome here, it is very nice.

Best wishes,

samdrup.

It's very nice people know each other, but I have to add that posting of your own e-mail is unsafe. I mean spam and some other pleasures of our civilized life

You both have a wonderful teacher, I rejoice in that....and in your reconnection here.

I met Mingyur Rinpoche in London a few years back and he gave me his card with his contact details.

I found it in my wallet a few weeks ago and the irony was not lost on me. Probably the most redundant bit of card I will have in my wallet for the next 3 years

Hello,

Thank you, he is a wonderful teacher. Too many stories over the years to recount here, but I feel very fortunate to have connected with him. Jess and Phil too.

Apparently Rinpoche was spotted near Tso Pema a few weeks back, looking well....around Tso Pema is an awesome area, I spent sometime there a few years back. Guru Rinpoche and Mandarava caves are very special, with many Yogis living around. I am sure Rinpoche will fit right in perfectly. His Dzogchen Guru, Nyoshul Khenpo lived in this area as a wondering Yogi for a long time.

I rejoice in his activity!

samdrup.

Ps. Hang onto the card, who knows it might be your connection to Rinpoche one day! :)

Pps. I have to thank my good friend Magnus for emailing me about MR at Tso Pema. Apparently It's on Facebook somewhere, but I'm not :)
