What we are getting here is a wee glimpse of the highly rococo ornateness and complexity of the structures of the Mahayana bodhisattva path - 5 Paths, 10 bhumis, 52 stages, 10 grounds - as the bodhisattva path was developed over the centuries after the Buddha’s death.

I'm having a hard time understanding you.
What wisdom is enhanced by concomitant method?

Well ... non-acceptance - whatever one's reasons may be - is fine. However we should avoid to give leeway to aversion since aversion is to be abandoned on both paths.

Kind regards

My naive mind inclines towards reason. No answer is fine, as long as you admit that there is no reason for us to pay attention to your argument.

The issue about whether or not a bodhisattva first abandons the fetters at the start of their career, or only abandons them at the end of the career, is a point over which a number of Buddhist schools have debated in their various buddhologies. This is reflected in the differences of opinion of various Mahayana schools of thought too. Stating a single position as THE Mahayana view may be claiming more than evidence permits. Of course, this is like a lot of teachings in the Mahayana, which is NOT a single body of doctrinal thought for a huge variety of issues and questions. Like the mainstream schools, for almost a number of critical positions that a given school may have, one can probably find another school that disagrees and possibly even holds the opposite.
My recently moved Blog, containing some of my writings on the Buddha Dhamma, as well as a number of translations from classical Buddhist texts and modern authors, liturgy, etc.: .
