Inge,

Elsewhere you stated your respect for Master Hsuan Hua.

Have you thought about contacting the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas and seeing if you could go there to study and train in their monastery/-ies? They have quite a range of options, from part time lay volunteers, lay and sangha training programs, higher education programs, and all their regular retreats and dharma services.

Definitely worth thinking about.

That certainly is a dream of mine, and something I have been thinking a lot about. One of my goals for 2010 is to visit CTTB to attend one of their sessions, and hopefully to receive the five precepts.

I also hope to be able to receive ordination in this lifetime, but first I need to pay of my debts, which probably will take at least a few years.
