Eternal

In I.C.U. I lay

My neck pierced in swordplay

Oh Bright Being help me

Yet rejected remained my plea

My vision became dim

As I lay there in sin

I prayed a night long

Hoping I wouldn't be soon gone

His teachings came to my blur mind

Got an absorption of a good kind

I wasn't going to die, I told

There is no death for my soul

I am eternal

Why am I being irrational?

Identifying myself with my body

Made me a poor broody

The Story

Nature is damn peaceful

Disturbing those who disturb themselves

Plucking a flower deprives nature

Snatches a child in her lap

The world has been influenced by illusion

Searching for the large shadows

And the big foot

Yet I feel like a king

Wish I could tell you a story

I have no burden of a crown

Let the world itself be the story

To begin, you must know
And from here, it can grow
Hold no view, and you will see
How enlightenment can be
Written down,
as I thought of Sakya Sri
...
People will know nothing and everything
Remember nothing and everything
Think nothing and everything
Do nothing and everything

The walnut is like the marrow

See Yin and Yang, peak and hollow

Like iron to magnet, I will follow

Your meek manner with lovely colour

But Sakya Sri, Sakya Sri

I'm still that little fish playing with glee.

And as they swam round
We put on a show
To let them know
What they didn't believe
And could not conceive
Of an eternal seed
On lotus pond reed
People will know nothing and everything
Remember nothing and everything
Think nothing and everything
Do nothing and everything

good stuff peeps
It has been the misfortune (not, as these gentlemen think it, the glory) of this age that everything is to be discussed. Edmund Burke, Reflections on the Revolution in France.

In my beautiful pond I swim about

No secret teaching, the very seed

Merits of Samadhis cannot sprout

Though Buddha is the fruit indeed

As a fish, I can't unite with Buddha

Though my Buddha body will one day appear

My flesh will never be the Rainbow One

There's little hope,but I love to hear

Losing You Is My Only Fear

Fallen has your soft voice on this fry
Pinning me down by and by
I can't dance to your sweet chime
I've no rhythm no such rhyme

What laws should I hold on to
Can't cut the ropes I'm clinging to
I won't blabber about my fate
My love is yours forget the stake

The Ceremonial Laws of Whipping Gods
Can't bar me from you my sweet dear
Though I have sharp educated swords
Losing you is my only fear

My stream of life begins to sing
To corners of my heart the rhythm you bring
Giving me a new experience every time
I set my eyes on your face so fine

Push me not down the steep slope
I'm not giving up on your wink of hope
Like iron to magnet you I'll follow
Be it at peak or at hollow

No Desire To Love In Vain

I loved flowers not happy with all
Now I've found you in a branch so tall
You've all-embracing virtues taught by mum
Affectionate speech, nothing to shun

I love the way you flick your hair
Your glittering eyes, a lovely pair
Not inside nor outside my thoughts abide
My love for you I cannot hide

I think of you night and day
My feet are always headed our way
Your cheeks have a light touch of pink
How should I approach you how should I link?

Your hair hangs down as a water screen
I love to watch you from in between
My desire to see you creates pain
I have no desire to love you in vain

I'll wash your clothes clean each shoe
I wouldn't mind being a slave to you
When men see you, around you they flutter
Like lunatics jumping out of hot water

“Truth is within ourselves; it takes no rise
From outward things, whate’er you may believe
There is an inmost centre in us all
Where truth abides in fulness; and around
Wall upon wall, the gross flesh hems it in,
This perfect clear perception, which is truth.
A baffling and perverting carnal mesh
Binds it and makes all error; and to KNOW
Rather consists in opening out a way
Whence the imprisoned splendour may escape
Than in effecting entry for a light
Supposed to be without.”
— Browning, Paracelsus.

Not really poetry, but I like it anyway.

The philosophical consideration is the Truth
Not psychological
Miles from faith
For even the faithful
Can mistake falsehood for Truth
Its neither good like faith
Nor evil like falsehood
Truth dwells in everyone
Even Icchantika has its nature

I would love to bend the Head of Science
Under the feet of Ethics
Bend Ethics to the Heavenly Religious Will
Keeping it well under the thumb of religion
Crowned by the Real and Final Truth
Bombs, hatred, greed, pride....
Would have to bid goodbye

A Little Power

A little power makes pride
Not nice
One out of a million have siddhis
Creating stumbling blocks
Lengthening vastly the spiritual path
Egotistical greed creeps in
From intentional cultivation of powers
Swaying away from the Path
Miracles by the Buddha,Christ and other sages
Had a purpose,were spontaneous
Never performed with selfish motives
Never to create a sensation
Then again there is black magic
Looking like genuine siddhi
Enlightenment is entirely different

The fool spent twenty years
Alone in a cave
Succeeded
Produced fire from his mouth
Idiot
I can strike a match without fear
Produce fire in a second.

Mastery Of Life And Death

Life and death were under his thumb
He asked for a spider
I brought him one
Sat and watched him as his abider

He cut it into four pieces
Seperated them from one another
Closed his eyes and sat motionless
The four parts moved towards each other

Having joined together
Away moved the revived spider
It couldn't be hypnosis, what wonder
My scriptual knowledge was way way under

My son
Scriptures, anger, spirits like gin
Would never make you a Dharma King
You have much knowledge of scriptures
Your first hand understanding is out of the picture

Mastery of life and death isn't from lectures
Let your senses develop new culture
When you're studying and learning
Attach not mere words with proud feeling
Dormant fire of passion will go blazing
Good thoughts and deeds it'll be consuming

All Is This

The puja drum
In rythemic beat
Throwing out
Universality of dukha
Providing mental training
Stirring the mind
To drop wordly things
Bloomed has the desire to see
All sentient beings
On the Vajrasana
The ten myriad repetations
Married the hundred syllable
The mantra of Vajrasattva
Evil confessed
Though still in stillness
The ten myriad offerings
Of the Mandala
Cuts obstacles till today
If all is this
Then this is all
Or is this all?

I Flee

On the mountain
No people no beast wander
The sky I curtain
With rice and water
For guru,Yidam,Dakini and Protector
The Mountain God I forget neither
With unexpected obstacles under blanket
I strip naked
Visualizing my fall into the fire of hell
The heat within me dwell
Unbearable pain me befell
May you attain Buddhahood
To sentient beings I yell
I fire spree
To save, to set them free
My first giant step Adi
Before the next, I flee

Remaining Within

Full Enlightenment is hidden by wrong doings
Why abandon the sunyata nature?
When in sunyata nature
One has no ego
What need has he to do wrong?
When one's ego is abolished
There is no one else
Who does he need to harm?
Great compassion of the same entity awakens
Who will harm his legs with his own hands?

Kill The Master First

Among all foolish persons
The most foolish is self
We have no self to hold as self
The body is the self to the common
Protecting it keeping it happy
Using it to harm themselves
As there is ego, action blooms
Action brings forth habit
With habit comes transmigration
No action, no transmigration
Buddha cherishes this very much
Merits will grow no demons touch
To kill the family, kill the master first
Kill the master ego
The five family aggregates will go
Buddha made it so simple
The time we have is ample.

Long Growth For Short Dish

As there is life
Desire there is to thrive
Man with sharp knives
Slaughters beasts
Cooked in fire,fried with cheese
Eaten piece by piece
It's a fright to be killed
For the stomach to be filled
The chopping board red in blood
Combine all houses it's a flood
It took a long time to grow
A fry it swam to and fro
Just got hooked, the beautiful fish
Only for just a quick short dish
Eating all meat, red and white
Man thinks he has the right
To know the source of suffering, wars and fights
Listen to the screams of the slaughter house at night.
