Hmm. So! My name is Kerry and I am 18 years old. I am studying in college at the moment. I am Muslim, but want to learn more about Buddhism so I decided to join this forum. I really love learning about different religions.

Welcome ohhcuppycakee.
I think that learning about other religions is a very good thing. There is too much hatred and misunderstanding in the world. I think there are many parallels between mystical Islam practices and Buddhist practices. For instance, from what little I know about Islam, non-dualism, charity and selflessness are practiced in the mystical tradition. The same things are practiced in Mahayana Buddhism.
