Greetings everyone!
I've been lurking here for a while, but I decided to break my silence and say a big hello to everyone here!
When it comes to Buddhism I'm just a beginner and I feel I have plenty to learn. I have been more actively pursuing this path for about a year. On May 2011 I decided to take Refuge in the Three Jewls. I was initiated to Green Tara by Ringu Tulku Rinpoche and was also given a protection cord by HH the 12th Tai Situpa & HH the 17th Karmapa. I am a follower of the Karma Kagyu school; we have a local lay (+ 1 nun) Sangha here in Slovenia. Before Buddhism I had been practicing Hindu Tantra & Yoga, and even before that occultism.
Sometimes I think that studying Buddhism is a bit like learning a new language. First you have to understand all these new concepts & ideas, learn new things, and then you have practice, practice, practice. I'm glad I decided to follow the Buddha-Dharma. It's probably the best decision of my life.
