A band I enjoy, Flobots:

Greetings,

Rather than just post more here, I'll post a link to a countdown of my 100 favourite bands and singers I'm presently doing at Dhamma Wheel.

The great Dusty Springfield -

Dusty Springfield and the Pet Shop Boys -

and from LiveBrits 88 (was it really so long ago?)

I'd forgotten how nearly perfect that song is ....

"Set your heart on virtue: Virtue's outcome is delight".
Dharmapada 9:3
“All beings are Buddhas, but obscured by incidental stains. When those have been removed, there is Buddhahood.”

..a muslim from Somalia...is my favorite

You may care to give this a listen. It is quite complex and ventures into the bodhistavva ideal quite surely.

I did find flobots and rondo played together at the same time however quite interesting  .
"This order considers that progress can be achieved more rapidly during a single month of self-transformation through terrifying conditions in rough terrain and in "the abode of harmful forces" than through meditating for a period of three years in towns and monasteries"....Takpo Tashi Namgyal.
