Changling Rinpoche’s 2011 Australian teachings series
and Longchen Gar Annual Retreat


Changling Rinpoche will be coming to Australia from 1st October to 31st October 2011, to continue his teachings, and deepen our understanding of the view through the annual Longchen Gar Retreat held near Melbourne.

We are hopeful that Rinpoche may also teach interstate, due to sincere repeated requests from students around Australia.

Teaching Program:
Monday 3rd Oct 2011 8 pm
Namchoe Amitabha Empowerment at Quang Minh Buddhist Temple, 18 Burke Street, Braybrook. Cost by donation.

Tuesday 4th Oct to Thursday 6th Oct 2011 7 pm
Namchoe Amitabha Practice at 8 Avis Crt, Forest Hill.
Please bring your text, vajra and bell. Cost $20/$15 per session

Friday 7th Oct to Sunday 9th Oct 2011 Wollongong (details to be announced)

Sunday 2nd October 2011 at 7 pm
Rangjung Padmai Nyingthig Empowerment
This is a wonderful opportunity for all interested to receive the complete empowerment of the Rangjung Padmai Nyingthig, a core treasure teaching of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. The Rangjung Padmai Nyingthig is a practice which combines the three roots of guru, yidam and dakini into the one mandala of the guru. It is a core practice of the Lotus Speech sangha.
Venue: 8 Avis Court, Forest Hill 3131 (Melway 62 C5)

Namchoe Amitabha Empowerment
Receive the Amitabha empowerment from the Palyul Namchoe tradition. This empowerment opens the doorway to the practices of Amitabha's Pure Realm and the practitioner's transference of consciousness at death.

Tuesday 4th October and Wednesday 5th October at 7 – 9 pm
Annual Amitabha Drupchod group practice and teachings
The annual Amitabha Drupchod allows the practitioner to become familiar with the practice of Amitabha in a close environment with Changling Rinpoche himself, and to further learn about the practice, its intent, and supporting ritual. This is a very rare opportunity to learn such a practice from a lineage master.
