More details about the Chinese artist Zeng Hau(曾浩) can be found here.

Some of his works are actually "Gandharvas of Dunhuang" (敦煌飞天) instead of Avalokiteśvara/Guanyin.

Stunning. Reminds me of how with the industrial revolution in England the Victorians got big into fairies.

In a TED video Mallika Sarabhai talks about the power art has and the integral place it deserves in our societies. Makes me want to do something like insideoutproject.net with Zeng Hao's pictures.
