His Holiness the Karmapa at Kunzang Palchen Ling

Post by Jangchup Donden »

His Holiness will be at Kunzang Palchen Ling, on July 26th 2011, giving a Chenrezig empowerment.

It is open to the public, but spots are limited -- and I'm sure they'll go extremely quickly -- especially for only a 20$ admission! Registration opens in the early afternoon on July 15th.

Does Metro North or Amtrak stop in or near Red Hook?

The Hudson line from Grand Central takes you to Poughkeepsie.....Red Hook is about a half hour up the Hudson River, on Rt. 9, if I recall correctly....

Are there cabs in Rhinecliff? And it's about 10-12 miles to Red Hook?

Thanks!

I believe people are carpooling. If you registered you could send them an email and see if anyone is driving from around there.

There are cabs at the train station. But you should call ahead and make a reservation. Find the number via the Internet.
