Sunday, July 3, 2011
For the coming up Kalachakra teachings in Washington DC area, I made a request to Tulku Jigme Rinpoche to bestow teachings on Sarasvati and give out Sarasvati blessing pills which possess the power for opening wisdom and blessings. May this be of benefit!
Sarasvati blessing ceremony and practice instruction are rarely given in this area. H.E. Tulku Jigme Lodro Rinpoche will be giving Anujna Vacana (authorized teachings) to practitoners to practice and receive blessings from Sarasvati. Tulku Jigme Rinpoche has special connection and had received great blessings from Sarasvati through out many life times. Sarasvati is his main practice. Sarasvati had been practiced by many practitioners since Shakyamuni’s time and been practiced by many different lineage schools and scholars. Many Indian and Tibetan great masters had received blessings from Sarasvati to achieve high wisdom realizations, there were also many ordinary beings become great dharma scholars by having the faith in Sarasvati.
Sarasvati is the manifestation of White Tara, represents the mother of the world. She manifested as a Hindu Goddess of all arts: music, painting, sculpture, dance, and writing. She is credited with presenting the gift of writing to mankind so that her songs could be written down and preserved. Sarasvati is often depicted on the back of a swan or peacock, and with four arms, with which she plays the lute or drum and bestows jeweled blessings. She is the Goddess of eloquence, and words pour from her like a sweetly flowing river. Sarasvati has many titles of honor who has power of memory, is closely identified with culture, language, speech, wisdom, intellect, creativity and inspiration. She contains all forms within and is the power of intelligence and wisdom.
For this event, a very special and rare Sarasvati mandala will be set up by Tulku Jigme Rinpoche for the blessing ceremony. Each attendee will see the resemble pure land manifestation of Sarasvati and after the blessing ceremony, one will receive a bag of rare Sarasvati’s wisdom blessing pills ( was told who receive the pills will gain wisdom by taking them) and Sarasvati’s sand mandala.

Jigme Rinpoche’s current dharma activities:
Rinpoche’s dharma project- Compassion book is now being translated into English, and Index for 100,000 Tantrayana in Tibetan had been finished and will be sent for typesetting in India. Rinpoche is taking care of Guru Rinpoche’s Buddha dharma.
Yeshede Buddhist Culture has very limited financial resource right now, and currently in need for a labtop computer, if you have a working labtop to donate or wish to help Rinpoche with a new laptop to assist Rinpoche’s dharma project, please contact Lee at 202-415-0886.
Tulku Jigme Rinpoche needs two computers for writing his dharma project- one to look up dharma text, one for typing. His laptop computer was broken last month, it had been very difficult for him to do his dharma research works with only one computer. He was highly praised by H.H. Dalai Lama for his noble works in education and is taking care of Guru Rinpoche’s dharma works by organizing all important texts and categorize them with appropriate index titles, which requires high dharma and wisdom knowledge, so that it is easier to locate the text with accuracy for researchers. He had also written and published many books. Some had been kept in Tibetan library education archives, some were used by the monastery as text books.

Biography for Jigme Lodro Rinpoche
Jigme Lodro Rinpoche was born in 1969 in Golok-Dhome of Tibet . He was recognized as the reincarnation of Genyen Dharmata. It is said that Genyen Dharmata was the server of the sixteen arhat principal disciples of Buddha Shakyamuni and was himself realized master from the Alasha Monastery at Five Peaked mountain of China . Jigme Lodro Rinpoche was recognized by Chakshul Tulku Sangye Lodro and Doctor Gyarong Samdup Gyatso only three months following his birth. His birth was witnessed with various mysterious and auspicious signs. Since the age of eight, he had joined Talang, a large monastery in Golok, Gemang Hermitage Place, Larong, the city of Dharma in Sertha, and other Dharma places in Kham.
He had studied Sutras, Tantras and Tibetan culture and religion. After that, he became well-known for his unsurpassed qualities and knowledge. In 1998 he came to India and became a great editor in both the Tibetan-in-exile government and the private editing centers. More than two hundreds of his essays had been published inside Tibet and outside in the Tibetan-in-exile communities. Some of his books were published by acclaimed publication centers of the Tibet government-in-exile include, Department of Education, Department of Information, as well as the Tibetan cultural and religious publication centers. His writings were well-respected and complimented by many great scholars. H.H. the Dalai Lama also had sent Jigme Rinpoche a letter praising him for his writing. In 2005, H.E. Trulshig Rinpoche also recognized and declared that he is indeed the reincarnation of Genyen Dharmata. In accordance to that in the January of 2005, H.H. Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche, the throne holder of the Nyingmapa, had enthroned Tulku Jigme Rinpoche in Bodhgaya in India . Currently, Jigme Lodro Rinopche is compiling additional historical stories of the Nyingma schools and the Tibetan culture and religion.
Tibet , the land of snow, is the only land on this earth which continuously preserves and promotes the holy doctrine of Lord Buddha that encompasses all Three Vehicles: Hinayana, Mahayana and Tantrayana. The very root of the complete doctrine is none other than the Tantric tradition of the Nyingma Sect and therefore, the preservation and promotion of this particular tradition is the same as the preservation and promotion of the whole Buddha Dharma.
It is essential for people in the future to know about the history of how the precious teachings of Vajrayana and the Nyingma sect came into existence and later was spread, especially, the distant oral teachings, the close lineage of treasure teachings and the profound pure teachings. It is, on the other hand, equally important and the sole responsibility of teachers and scholars of the Nyingma tradition to provide everyone with the missing information.
Therefore, we, hereby, step forward to initiate this noble work of recording, researching and writing on the Lord Buddha’s Nyingmapa lineage of Buddhism. Below are the major projects that Yeshede Buddhist Culture Institute will focus on:
1.History of Nyingma School
We are planning to write a well-qualified, detailed manuscript of the Nyingma religious chronicles, which are considered to be one of the most sublime Buddhist doctrines inside Tibet, the land of snow. We will conduct interviews with some of the most renowned scholars from both inside Tibet and abroad to assure the accuracy of the work. The text will provide important accounts of how the Nyingma lineage and Vajrayana Vehicle were kept alive and how their teachings will continue to be disseminated as long as this planetary world exists. In particular, we will add appendices from a vast source of the entire esoteric Tantric Nyingma lineages, the Sutras, Tantras, Concealed Treasure (Treasured teaching), Clairvoyance and all the commom auxiliary literature, which aren’t clearly depicted in other religious history books. The book will reveal how those Nyingma monastic tradition, Educational Seat and its other branches inside Tibet had come into being and how they were founded throughout the entire province of Tibet. The text will also record, word by word, the Religious Chronicles of the Nyingma lineages, and how their teachings flourished both inside Tibet and abroad starting from the mid eighteenth century until this very day.
2. Chronicle Tresties of Nyingma Lineage
We will also write a concise and newly edited Unique Chronicle treaties of the Nyingma lineages, depicting the exact birth and death annals of the past and the present renowned masters, and also relating their past and present great deeds and ongoing services rendering to the poor masses; the century and the year that the precious doctrines of Nyingma lineages were first founded in Tibet; every big and small Monastic Educational Seat which was the sole source of the Treasured Dharma, originated and flourished from long ago until this day throughout the Upper, Lower and Middle part of Tibet; the chronological list of how the Nyingma doctrine prevails and flourishes in every Eastern and Western country in the world; for example, in the neighboring countries like China, Nepal and Bhutan Kingdom.
3.Dictionary of Nyingma Lineage
Blossomed from the compassionate heart of the Great Kings and its ministers, the Bodhisattvas, the Great Translators and the Scholars who were born on the soil of Tibet during the early age of the Esoteric Nyingma lineages, we now have: the Three Sutra Basket, the Four Tantra’s schools, the commentaries on the teaching of Lord Buddha and numerous scriptures, especially the well-known most coveted three enfolded teachings - the distant oral teachings, the closed lineage of treasure teachings and the profound pure teachings. Based on the well-known vast treasure of the Buddha Dharma and other similar work preceding our time, we will continue to work on the editing of the the Unique Concise Dictionary of the Nyingma lineage.

Just found out about this:
"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."
Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
"Only you can make your mind beautiful."
