Look at the bottom of the thread in the yellow and click "bookmark topic".

Oh, and you can see your bookmarks in your user control panel on the lefthand side.

Thanks for quick answer, from FAQ

What is the difference between bookmarking and subscribing?
Bookmarking in phpBB3 is much like bookmarking in your web browser. You aren’t alerted when there’s an update, but you can come back to the topic later. Subscribing, however, will notify you when there is an update to the topic or forum on the board via your preferred method or methods.

I do see the bookmark, but still no subscribe? :tantrum:

I don't think there is a subscribe function...

Someone correct me the foolish mod if I'm wrong.

I guess you're talking about how to become a member of the forum?
Click on the LOG IN button at the top right.
You will see a log in page. About half way done you will see a button that says REGISTER.
Click on that, read the terms of service, and type in the info requested such as your forum name, your email address, and password, etc. and you will be own your way to becoming a member,

Try going into your UCP (User Control Panel). Click the Board Preferences tab; from there you'll see 3 options, the middle one being Edit post defaults. I think if you click Yes next to Notify me upon replies by default that should do it. *fingers crossed*
