Hello

Introduce yourself to others at Dharma Wheel.

Hello

Postby Dorje63 » Sat May 21, 2011 10:10 pm

I'm Dorje. This is my first Buddhist forum. Circumstances have me a little isolated from other practicioners geographically lately, so I thought it a good idea to get with some people online, plant my butt onto a cushion and listen to the Dharma.

I did lurk every now and again back on e-sangha and recognize a name or two. :D

Thanks very much indeed.

If I may, I was wondering where one may find images for use as an avatar? I certainly do not want to use images that are another's property. I think images found in searches online that are Thangkas painted by someone more recently or in a collection of antiquities are off-limits. Perhaps there is a source that will allow use...Anyway, I have been rereading Lamp For The Path To Enlightment lately and thought and image of Atisha would be auspicious.
