Two female Buddhists listed in this year’s Time 100

Each year, TIME magazine releases its list of who they consider the 100 “most influential people in the world,” and this year two important female Buddhists make the list.

73-year-old Dharma Master Cheng Yen makes the list as fearless head of the Tzu Chi Foundation. Read More Here...

Nobel Peace Prize winner and Theravada Buddhist Aung San Suu Kyi also appears on the list. Giving her the label “freedom fighter,” TIME highlights her work as the leader of Burma’s democracy movement. Read More Here...
