"More than 60 dead in Burmese, Thai quake"

More than 60 people are confirmed dead and another 90 injured after a strong earthquake struck near the border of Thailand and Burma on Thursday night.

Most of those killed were in a town near the epicentre of the 6.8-magnitude quake on the Burmese side of the border.

Local officials say five monasteries and many other buildings collapsed in the town of Tarlay. ...
