1 Myriad dharmas are only mind.
Mind is unobtainable.
What is there to seek?
2 If the Buddha-Nature is seen,
there will be no seeing of a nature in any thing.
3 Neither cultivation nor seated meditation —
this is the pure Chan of Tathagata.
4 With sudden enlightenment to Tathagata Chan,
the six paramitas and myriad means
are complete within that essence.

Re: How do you pronounce Kshitigarbha?
One Indian friend taught me it's something like 'city/see thee gar bah' where the 'k' is silent like the word 'kṣatriya' (the class/caste of the warriors in Indian social order) is 'sat tree ya'. Then again until a professor in Sanskrit comes along....

kshittih-gurr-bhuh
It does sound like "shitty" with a "k" sound before it, only the "y" in shitty would be the same sound as the i in shit. Because of that, I usually pronounce it as "sɪtigɑːbə" in casual use (due to accent). Pronouncing it in say, a mantra (such as Oṃ Kṣitigarbha bodhisattva yaḥ), I'm more faithful to the pronunciation though.

Re: How do you pronounce Kshitigarbha?
Yeah, from what I learnt in my sanskrit class there are no silent letters in sanskrit. Hence the "K" should be pronounced. So, I'm guessing "k-shee-tee-gar-bah".vinodh wrote://kshittih-gurr-bhuh//

Re: How do you pronounce Kshitigarbha?
Ven Drugu Choegyal Rinpoche pronounced it as 'Kyisti Garbha'. I like the way it was pronounced by Rinpoche.
Thank you
