Hi from Down Under

Post by pineblossom »

Hi all.

From the land Down Under - Australia. Have been a Tibetan Buddhist for some time but have only just come across this forum. My favourite texts are those by Longchenpa.

See you out on the playground.

I lived in Melbourne for 15 years, but I was born in New Zealand, but my parents were Greek migrants and I have been living in Greece for the past 14 years. Does that mean (for you) that it is partially nice to see another partial Aussie on board?

Well, we do live in a ethnic village but I just wonder if I was the lone representative from down under. I lived in Melbourne until about 10 years of age. Been a Queenslander for longer than I care to remember.

Blessings :namaste:

Hi There Everyone, I'm in Sydney... I registerd both here and Dhammawheel sometime ago but I have limited internet access these days so i'm around much. I practice Theravada mostly but i'm interested in all dharma, particularly zen & lately korean seon.... I don't beleive in limiting to oneself to any particular thing and never deviating. if you find dharma there it's useful....

Hi from USA and will be visiting Australia in a few days. Buddhism is prosperous in Australia as far as I know it.
