I personally prefer dark colours. Simple black background (black like the inside of a coffin on a moonless night) with white text is nice.

Dark backgrounds with white text can cause eye strain and headaches, that is my experience. :crying:

I like dark colors for the text. I am having a bit of a strain seeing the light blue lettering.

I think it would be neat to see how maroon colors look :)

FWIW this colour scheme is great on my smartphone in terms of clarity. :)

Hope you like the new colors. I think there is more continuity / connection to Dhamma Wheel (Theravada) with these colors / format (our sister site).

It looks pretty--like biting into a ripe mango!--but I think it's a bit harder on the eyes than the previous blue one. I was actually getting used to the blue and started to like it after a few days.

The "view active topics" button is very helpful.

Greetings,

I find the darker of the coffee colours a bit dark, making it too contrasting with the lighter one.

I preferred the blue, but this is perhaps more relevant - marron and saffron robes etc.

The knot and lotus unbalance the head of the page, I think.

maybe use Retro's avatar instead! LOL :)

It looks great. How do I add the Caz "Epic Approval" smiley here?

This will have to do for the moment -- :applause:

I agree, the composition looks off. In the spirit of "less is more", I'd lose them all together.

Also, if you look at the attached pic. I think that the colors (1&2) seem to clash.

That is because 1 has a greenish tint. Try removing the greenish tint.

The past two were much better than the blue one, but I still liked the original most.
Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

Okay, good recommendations. The colors have changed a bit more and now there is even more similarities with Dhamma Wheel, with this one being more maroon and gold and the Theravada being more orange and yellow, but otherwise very similar.
