If you can find a qualified yoga teacher in your area then it would be better to refrain from practicing the "five tibetan rites" as they are largely quackery.

I make this 5 Rites
then I make 9 Breathing
next 5 exercise Tsa Lung
and 5 Warrior Syllables.

Yesterday I want write about my experience.

5 Rites - 21 reps

Tsa Lung - 3 reps

5 Syllables - 21 reps

After all, I went to bed because I felt nauseated.
Question:

This is a typical symptom when we are doing everything correctly
or symptom when we do something wrong?

I do everything according to the instructions from Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche books.
In my village there is no one who is interested in this .
Even if someone had been here, I have no money.

I must do everything on my own

Does Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche teach the so-called "5 Tibetan Rites" in his books?

P.S.: I can't really believe that, 'cause afaik these so-called "Five Tibetans" or "Five Tibetan Rites" are complete bogus.

In general, if you're feeling bad after doing any kind of breathing practice then yes, something is wrong. Aren't there some videos of TWR on youtube for his tsalung practice from that book?

To the others, just because the 5 Tibetans may not be really "Tibetans" and/or made up it doesn't mean they have no value. Over the years I've seen a bunch of people online that said they've benefited from them. Personally I've tried them years back but I just didn't particularly like them so it was a very short try.

If it's not Tibetan (and pretends it is) and is not genuine (and pretends it is) then anything "positive" that comes from it must (I believe) be a placebo effect. Not to downplay the utility of the placebo effect, but one must ask oneself: Why gamble on a positive outcome via a placebo and not just take a genuine and trustworthy medicine?

He trains regularly at the gym bodybuilding

He told me that it was normal when the body becomes accustomed to working with less oxygen
and then suddenly we're doing more work and need more oxygen
Nauseated and dizziness is a typical symptom of hypoxia

Ok. I'd still be careful. I've felt dizzy when starting of with some practices but never nauseated.

Yes I've seen the movie though I don't remember this. But in any case he is not doing these exercises (The 5 Tibetans). He is doing Yantra Yoga.

He is doing Yantra Yoga.
I also noticed the similarity between Yantra Yoga and 5 Rites.
Meaby 5 Rites is taken from Yantra Yoga?

It's different bits "stolen" from all over the place.

PS What happened to the OP? It seems to have disappeared.

Personally I think they are fine as exercise, whatever their sketchy origins, the movements themselves are basic to various systems of yoga..and for that matter, you do most of them in Judo warmups too!

Doing them as Dharma practice, internal cultivation or something, i'd consult your Dharma teacher, if you're worried about the concerns mentioned by others here.

Far as purely physical viewpoints, for the parts that are upward/down dog, and the table pose, the only issue i've noticed from these exercises is a possibility of Dancers Hip, or Snapping hip, if you already have it - which I do. Good instruction will give you the key points to avoid that.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapping_hip_syndrome

If you have tendonitis around the elbow or something, as long as you keep your arm straight (not entirely locked, but not bent either), with your shoulders packed, I doubt you'll have a big problem.

They are not terribly difficult exercises though, if you just take it easy you'll know right away whether or not it causes problems, IMO.

Sounds like it could be a wind imbalance.

I strongly suggest that you stop trying tantric meditation exercises without the instructions and advice of a real, live teacher and within a buddhist path.

I hope you are aware that messing around with your mind can buy you a ticket in the psychiatric ward. You appear rather unstable already, which goes in accordance withe the fact that obviously you are already in psychiatric care and on psychiatric medication.

So I advise you to stop messing around with your mental health with hilarious, selfmade meditation "exercises".

The ultimate question which you will ponder on until you find or are given answer:

Last time I did the rites I got a headache. They're better systems out there I think.
