My First Buddha
My First Buddha
It is a beautiful, new and unique handmade, original designed and created by a Buddhist organization, soft plush Buddha. Made in different sizes for optimal ‘huggability’, it comes in two models and two color options: Tibet gold or Thai Lotus White. A fun and unique gift to give or receive. It holds a little secret inside, a Tibetan bell that makes an enchanting sound when shaken. More here
Cute and novel huh? But I can imagine the purists going

It looks like they fell way short of their fund raising goal ($680 out of a goal of $15,000) with less than a day left. Hopefully the project will still take off.

Where did you find those? If I wasn't so square I'd get them both. Here is the Vajrayana response to my-first-buddha:
1.The problem isn’t ‘ignorance’. The problem is the mind you have right now. (H.H. Karmapa XVII @NYC 2/4/18)
2. I support Mingyur R and HHDL in their positions against lama abuse.
3. Student: Lama, I thought I might die but then I realized that the 3 Jewels would protect me.
Lama: Even If you had died the 3 Jewels would still have protected you. (DW post by Fortyeightvows)
