The Music of Samsara

Post by Individual »

In my mom's car, there is a six-CD player.

I want to burn six CDs -- one CD for each realm of samsara. Each realm isn't its own genre... Hip hop could be animal realm or asura realm, for instance. Or even deva realm.

Any suggestions?

What is your motivation for doing this? What do you wish to accomplish?

Well, I listen to music anyway, so I thought, "Why not listen to better music?"

Nowadays, my sensual desires are different. I don't like specific ones. I like the flow of things.

In my CD player, when one CD finishes, the next one begins.

So, I want to put the six CDs in, pick one based on my mood, hit play, and then just let it play on through, from one CD to the next... Because it feels good and seems right. Is that bad?

Sorry, I think my wording came off the wrong way, like too strict or something, but I wasn't secretly criticizing you, just curious. Thanks for explaining. I'm not sure what to recommend that would be in line with what you're wanting to accomplish, but I will pass on a recommendation if you like really good soul music - a British songstress named Andreya Triana, especially her stuff with another Brit named Bonobo. This song in particular has had me open for days:

Hope you enjoy.

Well, you won't know until you recommend it.

I like Bonobo.

Here is a song that I've been stuck on recently:

It seems to bring happiness to good people.
