Hello TheDhamma,

I've got an idea for your next book :)

There is a lot of material in suttas that may be presented as tables and charts.

Some suttas look just like reading aloud a table cell by cell. Structures of some other suttas are harder to visualize, though not impossible.

Dmytro made a dependent origination chart based on several suttas:

I think that visual rendering of sutta material may be useful, as modern people are more accustomed to grasping information from tables and charts than from mnemonic texts like suttas.

So, how do you feel about "Buddha's Charts"?

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

The Complete Book of Buddha's Lists -- Explained has been available at my website as a free pdf download for a little over a year now.

http://www.thedhamma.com/

Now it is also available (full version) through Google Books (free download):

The advantage to the Google download is that there are links at the Table of Contents where you can jump directly to a chapter you want.
