Retro, thanks so much for posting the link for that documentary about Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh. It was beautiful and extraordinary. I couldn't help but shed tears as I watched it. Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh said everything I had ever wanted to say about compassion as it relates to Buddhism. He's truly inspiring, and I should learn more about him.
I agree with what the video said about how it's unhealthy for activists to feel so much anger. In college, I had always wanted to get involved with positive causes, but I always felt so uncomfortable with the hostile people in those groups. Ven. TNH warns us all of the pitfalls of uncontrolled anger.
I hope he has a long life which is full of joy.
