Hi anandha,

I was thinking about hangin out in India to meditate.

Isn't it possible to dwell in the forests and caves up in the mountains, drinking water from the rivers and occasionally venturing to local villages to beg for food ?

In India; one cannot do this anymore ?

Of course, you might not to live like this... but is it even possible in the modern-age ?

Regards.

In my opinion it is next to impossible to do this anymore. There were some hippies who did it, but these days India is twice as crowded and less accommodating. Then again, India is a big place, and one should beware of making blanket statements.
