Well, I've witnessed it up close and personal.

Maybe you are interested on reading this scientific reading about some that:

They share some interesting conclusions.

I'm typing this with my mind.....
In all seriousness I remain agnostic. Anything's possible in this crazy world.
Gassho,
Seishin

Nice. Was this study recent? Was it published in a peer reviewed publication? I'd be interested in the response from the scientific community.Nosta wrote:Maybe you are interested on reading this scientific reading about some that:

Re: Telekinesis
I dont know, but I bet that scientific community would kill that study instantly. We have the example of UFOs: there are really great ufo cases, lots of evidence (and lots of crap too) and even so scientific community denies the existence of ufos.

I've cloud bursted before, as seen in The Men Who Stare at Goats. So I definitely believe it's possible.

"This is a reprint of an essay originally published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, Vol. 11, No. 3, pp. 345–367, 1997."
Goooooooogle knows everything. Try Google Scholar?

Re: Telekinesis
All sorts of things are possible in this world. Just because the scientific community can't prove it, doesn't mean it's not possible. It's really not much different to me saying a house can't be built just because I can't build one.
Re: Telekinesis
I've never really understood the interest in things like telekenesis and so on that I've encountered. I'm fully open to being wrong on this one, but if it were real I don't know of what real value it would be to human liberation in any case - surely it is a distraction from Dharma practice?
Re: Telekinesis
Exactly. So it just becomes another stick to beat the science dog. Fear of which dog is largely irrational.
Telekinesis did not, and could not, irradicate smallpox from the world.
That most feared and destructive of viral diseases was eradicated by the application of science .
Not by placating the Smallpox Goddess or by homeopathy.

I do agree that someone on the buddhist path should not worry much on this things
