Hello from the Geordie Buddhist (Newcastle UK)

Postby Northern Light » Thu Jan 16, 2014 1:02 am

Hello there,

Just arrived here so thought I'd say hello.

'Northern Lights' is the name. I mainly practice Pure Land (Amida UK) Buddhism, but I also attend a weekly Dhammakaya Meditation Class at a Wat Phra Temple / Meditation Centre, run by a fantastic Thai Monk. (It's Theravadan Samatha Meditation, so quite the contrast with Pure Land practice!).

I'm from Newcastle UK - A "Geordie".

Nice to be here.
