Dog eats offerings
This is probably how he came to be a dog in the first place…

Yep, dogs 'll do that if you leave food lying around too long. So will some teenagers in my place. The dog usually makes less mess.

In the early days of Samye Ling the old house was overrun by rats...who helped themselves liberally to to puja offerings..sometimes in the middle of puja.

Thanks for the funny picture/story....in Thailand..so many Thai temples allow dogs/cats/chickens to live around ...even feed them with the left-over-almsfood.
