Hello from Seattle

Postby supermaxv » Tue Nov 12, 2013 7:53 pm

Just making an introduction after lurking here for more than a year without an account. I have the wonderful privilege of having taken refuge under His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya Rinpoche here in Seattle and am eagerly meditating, learning and studying the dharma!

Hi supermaxv,

You're in good company there--whenever I'm in Seattle (which is less and less often these days), I make a point of getting to Greenwood and visiting Dezhung Rinpoche's stupa. What a place...

Hello and welcome. :hi:
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself. Perception is not reality. What appear to be faults in others may actually be reflections of our own emotional afflictions. I don't have an attitude problem; you have a perception problem. Remember the way people treat us is their karma. The way we react is our own.~ Trulshik Rinpoche
