As all is mind; even small actions in altruism are litle steps toward wide oceanlike activities in equanimity with all beings.

It asks lots of power to break the pleasing protection kept under control by the guard dogs of prisonlike mind.

No any action is really bad or good or neutral intrinsically, and so those who want to be powerful and beyond bad and good, go on the vast path of liberation.

Altruism. :buddha1:
Projecting onto others is projecting onto projections. The answer lies in us, not in the other.

Don’t investigate the root of things,
Investigate the root of Mind!
Once the mind’s root has been found,
You’ll know one thing, yet all is thereby freed.
But if the root of Mind you fail to find,
You will know everything but nothing
understand. Guru Rinpoche.
