Buddhism For The Modern Skeptic

Post by retrofuturist »

Greetings everyone,

I just thought I'd let you know that a small text I authored called Buddhism For The Modern Skeptic is now being hosted at

Just Be Good
http://www.justbegood.net/Downloads.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(Just scroll down to the E-Books section to find it)

When developing this text, I was mindful to keep it generic enough so it's applicable (as far as I can make it) to all forms of Buddhism.

Metta,
Retro. :)

Hi Retro,

I skimmed this, and I bookmarked it so I can read in detail later. It looks marvelous, thanks so much!

Kindly,
Laura :)

Congratulations!

I took the liberty of announcing it at Dhamma Wheel too.

I just finished reading it the other day and it is great!

Greetings,

Thanks Laura, thanks David.

David ~ If it would slot in anywhere amongst your myriad websites, feel free to plug it in there too. There's certainly nothing exclusive about the distribution channels.

Excellent!

I was feeling bad that justbegood.net beat me to it, but now feel better that I can distribute it too!

Looks good after a very cursory read. But I find useful, even in a short work, an outline of contents at the beginning. Gives one a thumbnail of the key ideas.
May all seek, find & follow the Path of Buddhas.

Greetings Will,

Interesting suggestion... I'll keep it in mind for the next version.

Thanks.

Well at least now we have an alternative to authors like Stephen Batchelor :rolling:
