Prayer for dad

Postby Monlam Tharchin » Sun Dec 01, 2013 2:39 am

My dad went into the hospital early Thanksgiving morning for a serious recurring intestinal problem.
Usually, it resolves within a day or two.
This time though there's no change in his condition, and he may have to think about next steps soon, whatever those might be.
This is just another in a long series of health problems over the last 20 years, so he could really use some relief for once.

I was also hoping he could join me tomorrow as I take refuge, but that won't be possible now.

I'll be doing some Medicine Buddha mantras for him and all people with recurrent health issues these next few days.
I'd love it if others would join me.

May your Dad and all beings be free from sickness, enjoy health and long life and share peace, lovingkindness and compassion with all beings.

We thank you for your prayers.
My dad was able to go home Sunday night, but had to return to the hospital yesterday when his condition worsened again.

Your continued support would be much appreciated
