I'm cooking for 35+ ppl - two birds, 25 lbs of potatoes, creamed corn chowder, baby carrots in raisins, stuffing (a Sioux recipie from hubby's grandma)... good thing my hubby is the chef, and knows how to cook for 5 star restaurants... we're going to have stupid good awesome food! It's good to be the wife, mama's cleaning and yessir'ing the cook!

I'll dedicate my food to you guys, wish you could join!

The Heart Drive - nosce te ipsum

"To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget." –Arundhati Roy

May we all be able to generate in our mindstream a feeling of immense gratitude toward all mother sentient beings who, since beginningless time, have provided kindness and have been the cause of all our happiness. May we eat this food with the motivation to be of benefit to all sentient beings.
