Hello

Postby householder » Mon Oct 28, 2013 5:11 pm

I joined this community today as there are very few Buddhists in my area and not much in the way of a community or sangha to speak of, although I do participate in what is offered at a somewhat nearby Dharma center. I have been practicing for about four years now and look forward to the chance to speak to other practitioners about the challenges of following the path in world full of the three poisons.
May you always find happiness and its causes
May you always be free from suffering and its causes

Many of us are in the same situation. Welcome householder.
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself. Perception is not reality. What appear to be faults in others may actually be reflections of our own emotional afflictions. I don't have an attitude problem; you have a perception problem. Remember the way people treat us is their karma. The way we react is our own.~ Trulshik Rinpoche
