are there any suttas that deal with courage? im not trying to be judgmental im just curious. it seems like the whole message of the bodhisattva tales of the jatakas deal with courage, but it is not listed as a paramita. metta, befriend

i didnt mean to undermine the dhamma by asking that question, i just didnt understand why its not on a list somewhere. my apologies if i came off as irreverent towards the dhamma.

thanks Ben, apparently viriya can be translated as courage, energy etc....in the form of being present with sensations so far as ive listened
